For all different uses!

One of the most exciting parts of writing the history trails is seeing how people use them in different ways.

This month Education Coach, Lucy Parsons, has travelled to Stratford Upon Avon to learn more about Shakespeare using our "Shakespeare: A Man of Words" trail.

As an Education Coach, Lucy works with children and young adults to get the best grades and education opportunities. She encourages her clients to learn from experiences as well as lessons and books.

In her latest blog she encourages those applying for a university history course to bring their personal statement to life by visiting places linked to the history they are wanting to study.

"Immerse yourself" she says and I couldn't agree more. In fact, that's exactly what I was hoping the trails would allow people to do.

When an admissions tutor reads your personal statement you want them to sit up and take notice. You can do this by writing about your real-life experiences and insights.
